Fiber Optics Technician - Starts March 4th
Training Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am – 5pm
SER JOBS IS NOW ENROLLING FOR OUR FREE FIBER OPTIC TECHNICHIAN TRAINING! Earn industry-recognized credentials. Learn the skills you need to land and keep a job. Start your path to financial stability.
The 40 hr. class will cover fiber optic cable installation and splicing and prepare students to take the Certified Fiber Optic Technician exam (CFOT) through the ETA of America. Students should have prior work experience /background in the telecommunications, cabling and networking field for this course.
· Participate in 2 weeks of training
· GED or High School Diploma
· US Citizen or documented to work in the US
· Clean background
· Attend 90% of class time
· Valid DL and ID/reliable transportation
· Two years of experience with working in the AV Tech, IT, and/or Telecom industry (Preferred)
· Unemployed US Military Veteran or Spouse or Recently discharged (during or after 2013) (Preferred)
