This is a reminder that the Harris County Clerk’s (CCO) Elections Advisory Committee meeting will still be held tomorrow night at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2018 at the Fountain Life Center 14083 Main Street, Houston, TX 77035.
At this meeting, the CCO will provide/discuss:
· Voter Registration update
· March 5, 2018 City of Houston Council Member District K Special Election Logistics
· Early Voting Map & Schedule
· Sample Ballot
· Election Day Polls
· Voter Turnout from previous District K Elections
· Outreach & Social Media
The Harris County Clerk’s election advisory committee meetings originated as a means to work with leaders from all segments of the community to provide citizens the information, materials and assistance needed to access the voting process, with emphasis on groups covered by the language provisions of the 1975 Voting Rights Act (VRA).
