HCC trustee files lawsuit against college system

Dear "BloggingTheNews4U" Readers:

The post I sent out re: the lawsuit against HCC allegedly purchasing property in Katy TX illegally, has sparked a windstorm of questions/comments and concerns that have been brought to my attention.
Q-#1: Are the “Reorganizations” at HCCS being strategically used to get rid of African American leadership and instructors within the HCCS organization?
Q#2: Why are HCC campuses located in predominately African American communities smaller than other campuses per sq. footage?
Q#3: How many HCCS instructor positions are held by African American men?
Q#4: What is the ratio of African American Men that have benefitted from the “Minority Male Initiative Grants” program?
Q#5: What is the ratio of contracts awarded to African American owned businesses by Chancellor Maldonado vs. the number of contracts award to non-African American owned businesses?
Q#6: Is HCCS financially sound?
Q#7: Ask for a copy of the financial audit of HCCS?
Comment: “HCCS is heading towards taxation w/o representation.”
I will contact the HCC trustee for NE Houston and the chancellor of HCCS to see if I can obtain a response to some of your questions/concerns from HCCS.
Thank you to all of my dedicated readers for your response, texts and phone calls.
