It’s time for one of our favorite community events of the year: the annual Mayor’s Proud Partners Awards! This program, in its 34th year, recognizes individuals, civic groups and businesses who demonstrate civic pride at its finest. Recipients are chosen by a select committee who are seeking those who have gone above and beyond in projects which benefit the community in a variety of ways. The ideal applicants are those who have demonstrated diversity in benefits to: 

·     Youth

·     Broad-based community support

·     Environmental stewardship

·     Beautification or landscaping

·     Public/private partnerships

·     Neighborhood revitalization or cleanups

·     Long-term durability/sustainability

·     Active volunteer support and participation or employee activity above and beyond routine tasks

·     Educational programs

·     Recycling initiatives

·     In-kind sponsorships/donations

·     Innovative waste solutions

If you've been part of (or know of) a civic/youth/business/church group this past year that helped to Give Back to Houston by helping to Remove Litter, Beautify an area, or initiate Recycling, then the Keep Houston Beautiful 2018 Mayor's Proud Partners Awards are for YOU! We want to celebrate your contribution to our community.

If you were affected directly or indirectly by Hurricane Harvey, WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Shortly after Hurricane Harvey, we began supporting a group of U.S. universities. They want to learn from businesses like yours about the effects of Harvey - whether you were affected directly or indirectly. Your input will help them identify the best recovery strategies for the next major storm, and to understand how businesses are preparing for the future. You can also get a copy of the final report, if you desire.

The survey takes 15 - 20 minutes and can be completed with a desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone, and is confidential.
