Congresswoman Waters is Fannie Lou Hamer-she is "sick and tired of being sick and tired" of Trump and Democrats who are too afraid to stand their ground and fight back against his bigotry, hate, and intolerance.
Democrats can't be the party of A New Deal, The Great Society, Hope, Change and Forward if we are too afraid to take back-and protect-our democracy from Republicans who are too afraid to speak truth to power because they are afraid to lose an election.
The most powerful position in a democracy is not an elected office; it is the position of Citizen.
Winning an election while losing our representative democracy is not an option.
Today, we must be modern day Abolitionists. We must be freedom fighters for a just and inclusive society - what Dr. King called "The Beloved Community."
To move from where we are to where we need to be, we need a President who gets it and Congresswoman Maxine Waters gets it. And she can win. "The only thing we have to Fear is Fear Itself." For Maxine Waters to win-we have to believe, volunteer, donate and vote!
It's time for Democratic voters to be brave enough to take our nation in a bold, new, and more progressive direction.
President Maxine Waters has the skill, experience, vision and courage to lead America to the promised land of "a more perfect Union...."
The fight for the future of our nation begins this November and will culminate in 2020 when we elect Congresswoman Maxine Waters the next President of the United States of America.
